Description
Reference impulse calibrator MIC®
Reference impulse calibrators can be used for calibration of equipment and for performance checks and performance tests of digital recorders and peak voltmeters. The MIC® 330 calibrator complies with the high requirements according to
IEC 61083-1 (IEEE 1122) and IEC 60060 (IEEE 4). It can be equipped with a variety of calibration heads, for example, for impulse voltage, switching voltage, and STEP.
The MIC® 330 is a stand-alone device that is controlled by a separate computer. As standard, it is equipped with the basic ICS software package, which is used to control the calibrator. It automatically detects the connected calibration heads, ensuring a high level of operating convenience. The software can also be integrated into the customer software via a COM port. When the MIC® 330 is used in conjunction with the digital recorder HiRES, the special software IAS-CAL can be used for fully automatic calibration of the recorder according to IEC 61083-1.
